More Good News (I hope this is a trend)

I saw my oncologist, Dr. G, today and I got two pieces of good news:

1. I gained four pounds; I now weigh 139 pounds

2. My CEA (from two weeks ago) is/was 55. This is down from 75 about a month ago.

Hopefully this means the new treatment is working and I don't have to go urn shopping just yet.

Woo hoo! I know, it was all my painstaking, time consuming gourmet cooking. Ok, well I'm taking credit at least for 2 helpings of turkey dinner and pie.

Good news indeed. A trend would be nice, and long overdue.

Great news! Sort of puts the whole Tech game disappointment in perspective. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, Doug, and that Frank had a fatal allergy to the cranberry sauce!

I went to a funeral once and decided that there were some pretty cool urns out there, so I did some shopping. Haven't bought one yet though. But you know how when you carry an umbrella it never rains, maybe there's a corollary, if you have an urn, you won't need it. Anyway, hope the holiday food fest helps with your weight gain.
